What you can do (tools)

Claude has 40 EasySource tools. You don't call them by name - just say what you want and Claude picks the right one. They're grouped below by what they're for, with example phrases you can type.

Don't memorize these

Just describe your goal ("vet this project and show me the best 10"). Claude chains the tools for you. Type /hq_help any time for an in-chat menu.

📋 Your projects

Tool What it does Say something like
List projects Shows your projects as a table - candidate count, pipeline, contacted, responded, status, and a dashboard link. "List my projects."
Get project Pulls up one project's details and stats. "Open project 41338."
Candidate profile Full profile for one candidate - LinkedIn/résumé links, experience, education, skills, languages (and contact info if it's already on the record). "Tell me more about the 2nd candidate" / "Show that candidate's LinkedIn and experience."
Candidate's projects Which of your projects a candidate is in, and their stage in each (Pipeline / Contacted / Replied / On-hold). "Which projects is this candidate in?" / "Has this candidate replied anywhere?"
Project pipeline The outreach funnel for a project (or all projects): how many candidates are in Pipeline, Contacted, Replied, On-hold. "How's outreach going for 41338 - how many have replied?"
Export candidates The full candidate list for a project (name, title, company, location, star, LinkedIn, and email if already on the record). "Export all candidates from 41338" / "Give me everyone's LinkedIn for this project."
Dashboard link Gives you a direct link to a project in the EasySource dashboard. "Give me the link to project 41338."

💬 Messages & outreach

See what's been said to a candidate and how your outreach is performing.

Tool What it does Say something like
Browse Super Inbox Browse your conversations with the same filters as the dashboard: pick projects, channels (email/SMS/LinkedIn), status (sent/responded), positive sentiment, members (just you, one teammate, or the whole team - admin), or search by name - get every matching conversation with its last message and the total count. "Show everyone who replied on LinkedIn in project 41338." / "Which positive conversations are open across the team?"
Candidate conversation Every message with a candidate across all channels - email, SMS, and LinkedIn - merged into one chronological transcript, just like the Super Inbox. Each line is tagged with the channel and who sent it. "Show me all my messages with this candidate." / "What did they last say?"
Reply to a candidate Send an email or SMS reply to a candidate from the Super Inbox. Email replies thread into the existing conversation (recipient filled in automatically). Always shows you the message and asks you to confirm before sending. (LinkedIn replies aren't supported.) "Reply to this candidate: 'Thanks, are you free Tuesday?'""Send it."
Candidate emails & engagement The email thread with a candidate plus engagement per email - delivery status, opens, and link clicks. "Did they open my email?" / "How engaged is this candidate?"
Project outreach sequences The outreach sequences (workflows) running on a project, with per-sequence totals: enrolled, contacted, responded. "What outreach is running on 41338?" / "How many have we contacted and how many replied?"
Team members Your organization's teammates with their name, email, role, and Member ID - so you can filter the Super Inbox to a specific person. "Who's on my team?" / "What's Ada's member ID?"

Jump straight into the Super Inbox

Conversation results include a direct EasySource Super Inbox link for each candidate, so you can click through to reply or take any action the dashboard supports. Outreach-sequence results link to the project too.

Replies send real messages

Reply to a candidate sends an actual email/SMS from your account. Claude always previews the message and waits for your confirmation first. Your email (Gmail/Outlook/SendGrid) or SMS (Twilio) sending must already be set up in EasySource - if it isn't, the tool tells you exactly what to connect.

📇 Notes, activity, contacts & credits

Tool What it does Say something like
Candidate activity A candidate's timeline - added to project, emailed, replied, stage changes, notes - newest first, with who did it. "What's happened with this candidate?" / "When were they last contacted?"
Add candidate note Save a note on a candidate (attributed to you, visible in EasySource). "Note that this candidate prefers remote." / "Log my screening feedback."
Find candidate email Reveals a candidate's work/personal email (for candidates already in a project). Spends email-finding credits - asks you to confirm first. "Find this candidate's email.""Yes, go ahead."
Enrich candidates in a project Enrich email and/or phone for candidates already in a project (the same as the dashboard's "enrich selected"). Updates them in place - no duplicates. Say "only phone" when they already have emails. Spends credits - asks you to confirm first. "Enrich phone for these candidates in project 41338.""Confirmed."
Enrich a new candidate by LinkedIn URL For a net-new candidate you only have a LinkedIn URL for - finds email and phone. ⚠️ Not for candidates already in a project (use the row above). Spends credits - asks you to confirm first. "Enrich this LinkedIn profile: <url>.""Confirmed."
Account credits Your email-finding credit balance (remaining / used / total) and plan. "How many email credits do I have left?"

Finding contacts spends credits

Find candidate email, Enrich candidates in a project, and Enrich a new candidate all spend credits and call external providers. Claude always asks you to confirm before spending, and won't surface a contact it couldn't actually find. Check your email balance any time with Account credits. Which to use: Find candidate email = quick email reveal for candidates already in a project; Enrich candidates in a project = bulk email/phone enrich for candidates already in a project (say "only phone" to skip email); Enrich a new candidate = a brand-new candidate you only have a LinkedIn URL for.

🔎 Sourcing candidates

Sourcing is a short, guided flow - describe the role, Claude builds the search, you preview, then add to a project.

Tool What it does Say something like
Generate search strategy Turns your plain-English brief into EasySource search filters. "Source ML engineers with 3+ years in Bengaluru."
Run search Runs the search in EasySource. Uses credits - asks you to confirm first. "Yes, run it."
Search preview Shows the candidates a search found before you commit them. "Show me who it found."
Add to project Adds the searched candidates to a project (creating one if needed). "Add them to a new project called 'PM - London'."

Missing details?

Some searches need a few required filters (e.g. a job title or location). If something essential is missing, Claude tells you exactly what to add before it can run.

🔗 Add by LinkedIn URL

Tool What it does Say something like
Add candidate by LinkedIn URL Adds one or more LinkedIn profiles to a project. "Add these to project 41338: <linkedin url>, <linkedin url>."

If you don't say which project, Claude shows your project list so you can pick one.

📣 Outreach sequences

Build a multi-step email/SMS sequence with your own timing, launch it on a project, and pause/resume it.

Tool What it does Say something like
Create outreach sequence Build a multi-step sequence: email/SMS steps in order, each with its own wait (e.g. email → wait 2 days → SMS → wait 1 day → follow-up email). Personalize with the tokens EasySource fills in: {firstName}, {fullName}, {jobTitle}, {organization}, {industry}, {senderName}. Creates the sequence only - nothing sends yet. "Make a sequence: intro email, wait 2 days, then an SMS, then a follow-up email 3 days later."
Start outreach Launch a sequence on a project's candidates, choosing when the first message goes out. Sends real messages - asks you to confirm first. "Start that sequence for the top 20 candidates in project 41338, beginning Monday 9am.""Confirmed."
Stop outreach Halt a running sequence (no more sends; a step in progress finishes). "Stop the outreach for that workflow."
Resume outreach Resume a stopped sequence. Sends the remaining steps - asks you to confirm first. "Resume it.""Yes."

Outreach sends real messages

Start / Resume outreach send actual emails/SMS to candidates on the schedule you set. Claude previews the plan and waits for your confirmation. Timing is set in days/hours (no fixed business-hours window; times are India time / IST). Your email & SMS sending must be set up in EasySource. LinkedIn steps aren't supported here.

Who your outreach skips

Outreach automatically skips some people so you don't message the wrong ones. Claude can show you which groups are skipped and adjust them before a send.

Tool What it does Say something like
Who outreach skips The groups your outreach skips - people who already replied, were contacted recently, are in another project, opted out, bounced, or were marked rejected / not interested - plus the other groups you can choose to skip. "Who gets skipped when I send outreach?"
Who was skipped on a sequence After a sequence launches, exactly who was skipped and why. "Who got skipped on that outreach, and why?"

Some skips are always on (you can't turn these off)

Even with no custom skip rules, EasySource always skips anyone in the project who has already replied, or whom you marked not-interested or rejected - plus anyone opted-out / bounced / do-not-contact for compliance. So "skip no one" still won't message those people. Before a send, Claude shows you the optional skip rules and can report exactly who was skipped (and why) afterwards.

📞 AI calling

Let an AI voice-agent phone your candidates, then read back how each call went.

Tool What it does Say something like
Start AI calls The AI calls a project's candidates - pick specific people or the whole project. Give it a pitch to work from: paste it as text (Claude saves it for the calls), share a link to a doc, or use your company doc already on file. Places real calls and uses calling credits - asks you to confirm first. Only candidates with a phone number are dialed. "Have the AI call the top 10 in project 41338 about this role.""Confirmed."
AI calling campaigns Your AI calling campaigns with progress - how many have been dialed out of the total, and each one's status. "How are my AI calls going?"
AI call results Who was called and how it went; ask about one person for their call summary and full transcript. "How did the AI calls go?" / "What did that candidate say on the call?"

AI calling places real calls

Start AI calls dials real phone numbers and uses calling credits, so Claude confirms first. AI calling has to be turned on for your account and you need an AI calling number assigned - if either isn't set up, Claude gives you a link to enable it and add your number. A brand-new file can't be attached in chat: paste its text, share a link, or upload it in the dashboard.

📤 Bulk upload from a CSV

Tool What it does Say something like
Bulk upload candidates Upload a CSV of candidates into a new project or an existing one. Attach/paste your CSV and Claude imports the rows; candidates are added and their LinkedIn profiles enriched in the background. "Upload this CSV to a new project called 'PM - Berlin'." / "Import these into project 41338."

Accepted CSV format - one row per candidate. The only required column is linkedInProfileUrl; the rest are optional:

name, linkedInProfileUrl, email, title, titleDescription, location, companyLocation,
pastExperienceCompanyName, pastExperienceCompanyUrl, pastExperienceCompanyTitle,
pastExperienceDuration, profileImageUrl

New project or existing

Say a project name to create a fresh project for the upload, or a project ID to add into one you already have. Extra columns you include are kept; missing ones are filled in when the profile is enriched.

✅ Vetting (rating candidates against the role)

Vetting scores everyone in a project against criteria you control.

Tool What it does Say something like
Generate vetting criteria Drafts must-have / good-to-have criteria for the project. "Generate vetting criteria for project 41338."
Get vetting criteria Shows the current criteria. "Show the vetting criteria."
Suggest criteria Proposes additional AI-generated criteria you can accept. "Suggest a few more criteria."
Update criteria Add, remove, edit, or flip a criterion between must-have and good-to-have. "Make 'AWS experience' a must-have and drop the last one."
Run vetting Rates every candidate against the criteria. Shows the criteria and asks you to confirm first. "Run vetting.""Yes, confirmed."

Criteria are tagged MUST (must-have) or GOOD (good-to-have). The natural order is: generate → review/edit → run vetting → see ranked results.

⭐ Ranking your shortlist

Tool What it does Say something like
Top candidates Lists a project's best candidates, ranked by star rating. "Show the top 10 candidates for project 41338."

If no one's been rated yet, Claude will offer to run vetting first.
